Serene scene
Tranquillity reigns at Hemma på Klev, regardless of what you get up to. The B&B is best suited to adults and children over the age of twelve, while the restaurant is fine for all ages. Hosts Åsa and Janne provide delicious food and comfortable beds, and just around the corner are lovely forest paths for walks in the nature reserve.
Kitchen and garden
The kitchen prepares dishes with seasonal local produce such as lamb from the farm, but there are vegetarian options too. During the summer months seating is available in the garden, close to small farm animals, plantations and the babbling brook. When the mood takes the chef, food is cooked over an open fire in the outdoor kitchen.
Sleep in an 18th-century setting
The wing dating back to the 18th century has four rooms with wide floorboards and solid timber walls. Beds are made for you and breakfast included. The B & B is open all year round, and guests can pre-book dinner. Dogs are welcome in the B & B as well as the restaurant if they are kept on a short leash and are happy to snooze under the table, and if appropriate consideration is paid to other guests.
Conference for the small group
Do you need to hold a conference with a small group? The facilities can accommodate up to 20 people and include a projector and an optic fibre network. Homemade bread with locally produced toppings and homemade cakes are served with coffee or tea. Lunch and dinner are prepared using local ingredients.
Bicycle, walk and go canoeing
Take a slow walk in the woods, go biking along Ätradalsleden or canoeing on quiet waters. Go for a swim in a lake with sandy beaches and crystal-clear water. Or just enjoy a moment’s silence in nature. If you like to go all-inclusive there are special canoeing and walking packages.
An inn farm with a long history
The Ätradalsleden has always been a natural waterway between coast and inland, and here Klevs Gästgiveri found a natural place. Take a walk on the Klevaberg nature trail and admire beautiful Ätradalen from above. Next to the inn is the preserved country store and the Mårdaklev homestead museum.
